Judy PearsonI was diagnosised in 1987. I had a complete mastectomy on my right side and went thru about a year of chemo. Back then, there wasn't much info or groups to join, so I more or less went it alone. My family was great and I had a wonderful Doctor. Janet Ames, my sisters sister-in-law kept asking me to come to a luncheon. I did, and I have been hooked ever since. The ladies are remarkable and I can't believe what our membership has accomplished. I enjoy our meetings, luncheons (especially when I get to be hostess). We support each other in a way that no one that has gone thru this journey can imagine. I am married to Jim for 50+yrs, 4 children and 9 grandchildren. Great grandchild on the way. I am truly blessed with my family and all my friends at SOS.
