2012 will be a truly exciting and challenging year for S.O.S. We need to grow our volunteer base so we can expand our efforts. The new formation of the committees completes the organizational plan. Each committee has a Chairperson who will hold monthly meetings and report committee activities at the Planning Committee. If you did not attend January's meeting, please try to attend the February meeting which will be at 5:30, on February 13th at the Saint Agnes Cancer Center. Contact Janet Ames, 696-6525,firstname.lastname@example.org . She is our Membership Committee Chair. She will help you select a committee which will welcome you as a volunteer member.
The second component of the plan is having an office. The Board approved a trial year. We will move in on February 15th. Just like a new bride, our office has needs. I am going to provide a "wish list" and if you have anything to contribute, it will be most welcome. Also, I have volunteered to decorate and organize the new office.
