Cancer and the Law Educational Seminar Co-Hosted by the Sisterhood of Survivors The Cancer Legal Resource Center (CLRC) and the Sisterhood of Survivors invite you to join us for an educational seminar about Cancer and the Law. This free seminar is open for anyone affected by cancer – patients, survivors, caregivers, advocates, and healthcare professionals. CLRC Staff Attorney, Jamie Ledezma, will provide an overview of issues faced by women with breast health needs and available health care and insurance options. All attendees will receive a free copy of the CLRC’s customized and comprehensive: Guide to Navigating Breast Health Care Options in Fresno County We will also discuss common cancer-related legal issues, including: employment rights and reasonable accommodations in the workplace; taking time off work; and access to disability insurance and government benefits, such as Medicare, Medicaid, SSI, and SSDI.
