Sisterhood of Survivors participated as a team in the 2008 SGK Walk for the Cure at FSU.  With 75 Members and 15 Survivors we were off to a great start helping to support finding a cure for breast cancer.  We are gearing up for the 2009 Walk for the Cure at FSU and if you would like to join our team you can follow the link below.  So far we have 92 members and of that 27 are SURVIVIORS!

Let's help make a difference! 

On November 19, 2008 Fresno Regional Foundation held a press conference at Valley Public Television and awarded more than $125,000 to fund activities for organization throughout the Central Valley with programs and services in social, education, economic and health arenas.  Sisterhood of Survivors was awarded $4,000 to fund Outreach and Tote programs. September 24th, 2007 at the Fresno Regional Foundation offices we were met by KSEE 24 staff Stefani Booroojian as she interviewed Gail Green of Sisterhood of Survivors for the evening Buddy Check segment   After the interview the winning ticket was drawn for the breast cancer awareness afghan donated by Mary Jo Pople, lucky winner was Helen Levashoff of Coarsegold.  Pictured above left to right,  Gail Green, Allie Haynish Stefani Booroojian, Mary Jo Pople and Terry Elrod.
