Luncheon Meetings

Meetings take place at Denny's, 710 West Shaw,  Clovis, CA  (corner of Shaw & Willow) 559-298-8706..  They allow us the use of their banquet room so we can talk openly and enjoy our guest speakers quarterly.  Feel free to join SOS on the 3rd Saturday of each month at 11:45 AM

It is wonderful to have an opportunity to learn and support one another!  Read below to see what breast cancer survivors had to say about our monthly luncheon meetings.

We have also included our Guest Speaker Guidelines at the bottom if this page for your review.  These guidelines were created based upon your requests and the obligation Sisterhood of Survivors feel towards our members to provide sound advice.  These guidelines were approved by the Planning Committee and adopted by the Board of Directors on January 17, 2012.  The Outreach Committee will provide news regarding upcoming guest speakers very soon.
Each member of Sisterhood of Survivors would probably have a slightly different answer if asked  "How would you describe  our monthly luncheon meetings?"  So we put it to the test and below are some of the answers we received.  If you would like to make your comments known please let us know.

A get together of women who have a common experience (breast cancer) who start out as acquaintances, but soon not only support each other during and after cancer but become friends for life~Cinda

Sisterhood of Survivors meets on the 3rd Saturday of each month at Carrow's on Shaw for sharing and social time~Lisa

I'd describe our monthly meetings as a chance to help newly diagnosed cancer patients plus a chance to catch up with those of us who are cancer survivors~ Claudia

A diverse family of friends there to help when you need it most!   Caring, Fabulous, Supportive, Informational, Fun, Friendly & Positive. Everything you need when you have been diagnosed with cancer and beyond.~ Susan

Well I think it's a time to be together, to meet new survivors and support each other~Judy
