June 11, 2016 was Force for the Cure benefiting Susan G. Komen Central Valley honoring all Breast Cancer Survivors. A group of SOS members, their families, and their friends enjoyed a perfect evening being recognized as breast cancer survivors and those who support them. Our SOS section 123 had a beach ball volley contest and we won! Our prize was a voucher for a free Grizzlies game of our choice! Next year we hope to have more SOS members join in on the fun!

May 8, 2016 was the Madera Kiwanis Mother's Day Run at Woodward Park. It was a wonderful day for a 10K and recognizing Mothers from all walks of life. SOS members participated and volunteered at the 10K run. Happy Mother's Day to all the great MOM's out there! Thanks to everyone who participated.

The 2016 Girls Night Out on April 20th was a HUGE success thanks to SO many volunteers, donors, supporters, and vendors. We moved our venue to the Clovis Veterans Memorial Building thinking the room would be sufficient; however, we had vendors who we didn't have room for. Our next Girls Night Out is scheduled for May 4, 2017 at the same location, but in a larger room! If you are a volunteer, vendor, donor, or sponsor and interested in joining our Annual Fundraiser, please contact our office at 559-439-2183.

On April 7, 2016, Sportsman's Warehouse invited Sisterhood of Survivors to attend their 1st Annual Ladies Night in Fresno.
Sportsman's Warehouse recently opened in Fresno and honored SOS by donating a portion of the proceeds from their annual event recognizing women. Lots of game booths, raffles, prizes, and food were part of the fun.
February 14, 2016 CSUF Women's Basketball
