Dana Wasserman, Psy.D. is a licensed clinical psychologist in Fresno. She maintains a private practice with a focus on psycho-oncology, working with cancer patients and their caregivers. Graduating from The Wright Institute in 2004 with a doctorate in clinical psychology, Dr. Wasserman worked with the severely and chronically mentally ill in the Tenderloin neighborhood of San Francisco. She also worked in a women’s clinic in the Mission District of San Francisco and worked with men struggling with addiction at The Salvation Army Drug Rehabilitation Center in Oakland. Dr. Wasserman completed her post-doctoral fellowship at The Sullivan Center for Children in Fresno. A psychologist focuses on the evaluation, prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of mental, emotional, and behavioral health issues. A clinical psychologist uses psychotherapy and other counseling skills to improve emotional and mental health.

Dr. Wasserman was due to speak at our July luncheon, but due to an unforeseen family emergency her speaking engagement was changed.
